Job Functions:

Requirements and Technical Skills:

  • Candidates must have experience designing, configuring and maintaining
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2010 in an enterprise environment
  • Microsoft Active Directory 2003
  • Experience administering Microsoft Exchange 2003  and 2010 in a high-availability clustered environment
  • Demonstrated abilities to Configure DNS and DHCP
  • Experience Migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010
  • PowerShell experience
  • Pluses: Experience with Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS)
  • Acts as the subject matter expert for multiple portfolios of moderate complexity and serves as the system      architecture authority within that scope
  • Defines complex technology-based business solutions within scope of project
  • Mentors and leads project teams in the appropriate use of technology
  • Identifies and evaluates technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends
  • Reviews and approves design decisions prior to implementation to ensure adherence to prescribed guidelines
  • Advises client company management regarding IT vision and strategy, technology innovations and enterprise architecture services
  • Provides production problem diagnosis and technical, and processes support to project team

  • Leads system design activities or reviews system designs to assure that applications solutions will exhibit expected levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment

  • Prepares IT vision and strategy work products, technology and product analysis, white papers, and responses to      management queries on technology and product related topics

Labor Category Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with five years of related experience. Equivalents: High School diploma with nine years of specialized experience in related field, or Associates Degree with seven years of experience, or Masters Degree with three years experience, or Doctorate Degree with one year experience.

Labor Category Description:

Analyzes functional business requirements and design specifications for functional activities. Provides identification/fixing for the problems within existing systems design/implementation of new systems, enhances the existing systems and participates in analysis, design and new construction of next generation IT systems. Responsible for understanding the needs of the customers and the realities of commercially available IT products and for creating requirements that will allow implementation by the architecture and engineering team and COTS products.

•Performs document reviews to ensure effective and appropriate environment changes and demonstrates ability to escalate needs when necessary
